Planning Permission Refused

1 Covington Way (16/06075/DISC). Discharge of condition 2 attached to planning permission 15/05543/p for the demolition of side extension. Erection of two storey four bedroom attached house; provision of associated parking. Reason: ‘No samples have been received by the LPA and without further information, it is considered that the materials and design approach would not be in keeping with the character and appearance of the street scene.’

343 Green Lane (16/05799/HSE). Erection of conservatory. Reason: ‘The proposed conservatory would detract from the appearance of the building and be detrimental to the amenities of the street scene by reason of overdeveloping the land and loss of garden space.’

1523B London Road (16/05060/DISC). Part-Discharge of 10 attached to planning permission 15/04806/P for the Alternations to existing building, Erection of 3 bedroom house to rear fronting Roche Road, Provision of refuse storage. Part Approved/Part Not Approved

Flat 2, 120 Norbury Crescent (16/04537/NMA). Retention of conversion to form 2 two bedroom flats (amendment to planning permission 16/02110/P). Refused: ‘The proposed plans are considered to be materially different from the permitted proposal and a further planning permission is therefore required.’ JPC had submitted an objection.

34 Ryecroft Road (16/05959/HSE).  Erection of single/two storey rear extension. ‘The development would be out of keeping with the character and appearance of the Conservation Area, by reason of its bulk, and design’; ‘The development would result in visual intrusion and loss of natural light to the detriment of the amenities of the occupiers of adjoining property’

409-411 Beulah Hill (16/06130/DISC). Discharge of condition 23 attached to planning permission 16/03817/P for new LIDL store.

50 Beatrice Avenue (16/04704/LE). Retention of dormer extension in side roof slope. Lawful Development Certificate granted with conditions.

9 Bishops Park Road (16/06186/LP). Erection of dormer extension in rear roof slope and rooflights in the front slope. Approved with conditions.

5 Copgate Path (Flat 1 Norwood Grove Mansion). (16/05903/FUL). Alterations and use of garage as granny annexe. Condition. ‘The garage shall only be used as granny annex shall incidental to the enjoyment of the Flat 1 Norwood grove Mansion and for no other purpose.’, to ‘safeguard the amenities of the neighbourhood by ensuring that the proposed granny annex does not become used as an independent dwelling’. This was requested by the Joint Planning Committee.

5 Copgate Path (Flat 1 Norwood Grove Mansion) (16/05904/LBC). Alterations and use of garage as granny annexe. Listed Building Consent.

8 Crescent Way (16/06054/HSE) Erection of single/two storey front/side extension and conversion of the integral garage into habitable accommodation.

14 Dalmeny Avenue (16/06282/LP). Erection of single storey rear extension and dormer extension in rear roof slope. Approved with several conditions.

64 Dalmeny Avenue (16/06279/LP). Secretion of single storey rear extension projecting out 6 metres with a maximum height of 3 metres. LDC granted with standard conditions.

64 Dalmeny Avenue (16/06291/GPDO).  Erection of single storey rear extension projecting out 6 metres with a maximum height of 3 metres. The officer report notes that we supported an objection and other residents but because no immediate neighbour did the application could not be refused. We may therefore have to think about contacting immediate neighbours when we have concerns about a GPDO application.

22 Hatch Road (16/06168/LP). Erection of a single storey rear extension. Approved with conditions.

1355-1357 London Road (16/06017/DISC). Discharge of conditions 7 and 8 attached to planning permission 16/00235/P for the minor material amendment, re-revisions to the layout of ground-floor doors, installation of additional windows and revised fenestration, and alterations to the site’s frontage.

1507A London Road (16/05662/HSE). Erection of a single storey rear extension.

1523B London Road (16/05060/DISC). See above under refusals.

130 Norbury Crescent (16/04826/HSE). Retention of a detached single storey outbuilding for storage purposes to the rear of the garden. Approved with condition that the building ‘shall only be used for purposes incidental to the enjoyment of the dwelling house and for no other purpose’ to ‘protect the amenity of adjoining occupiers and the character of the surrounding area’. This condition was requested by the Joint Planning Committee.

104 Norbury Hill (16/06188/GPDO). Erection of single storey rear extension projecting out 6 metres with a maximum height of 3 metres. Prior Approval No Jurisdiction (GPDO)
